Georgia Southern University
Founded in 1906 is the largest and most comprehensive re-search institution in the central coastal Southeast. Ogeechee Technical College
Statesboro is home to Ogeechee Technical College, a Unit of the Technical College System of Georgia. Ogeechee Tech’s main campus is located at One Joseph E. Kennedy Boulevard, just off U.S. 301 South of Statesboro. The College also operates centers in Evans County (in Claxton and Hagan) and Screven County (Sylvania).
Ogeechee Technical College has a very diverse group of program offerings, with everything from Veterinary Technology to Cosmetology, Accounting to Nursing, and Automotive Technology to Geographic Information Systems. Ogeechee Tech also offers a number of meeting spaces to accommodate smaller groups up to several hundred attendees.
