Mark your calendars for Feb. 13 through Feb. 24 as the Georgia Southern Baseball Team hosts eight games throughout those 11 days. The team will begin playing Bethune- Cookman, then Georgia Tech and finish up with West Virginia and the Citadel.
The team will host a total of 31 home games this 2015 Spring season, and tickets are now on sale and going fast. With the football team’s claim of the Sunbelt Conference Title and a dominating Men’s Basketball season in the Sunbelt thus far, Baseball is sure to provide another successful run in its first Sunbelt season.
J.I. Clements Stadium offers $8 seats prior to entering the stadium or $10 tickets at the gates of the stadium. Premium games, against Tech and the University of Georgia will be $12. Children ages 4-12 can buy tickets for $5 at the gates and $10 for premium games.
A new attraction to the stadium is the Bullpen Club, a new upscale viewing area in the Wiggins Building inside J.I. Clements Stadium. There will be indoor and outdoor balcony seating through this club as well. Along with the best seating in the house, this Club also offers food and refreshments along with many other perks.
The requirements to join the Bullpen Club include being a Bronze level donor ($1,200+) and being a 2015 season ticket holder to the baseball games. There are many bonuses to joining the Club, which can be found here. If your season tickets have already been purchased, you can add this Club level viewing to your package for $200 per ticket. That means it’s only $6.45 per game for complete Bullpen Club access.
The 2014 baseball team finished with an overall record of 40-23 and a record of 15-12 in the Southern Conference. This year, the team will compete in the Sunbelt for the first time, and they have been training towards the goal of sinning the Conference Championship. Be sure to head out the J.I. Clements on February 13 to catch the first pitch of the season at 6 p.m. versus Bethune Cookman.
